FIP Students Design a Three-Language Pocket Book in Thailand

Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA - Students of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program of Surabaya State University (UNESA) carried out the School Field Introduction Program (PLP) at Saiyidwittaya Foundation High School Thailand, some time ago. The students are Maryana Kamilah Octarine from Class A and Reshinta Puspita Pratiwi from class B, class of 2020.
During PLP in the White Elephant Country, the two students designed a Pocket Book media that discusses 'Emotion Regulation and Time Management'.
Maryana Kamilah Octarine said, the concepts of emotion regulation and time management are two important concepts in everyday life that can help a person or student in achieving goals and living a balanced life.
Emotion regulation, she continued, involves self-control and emotional awareness to deal with various situations calmly and wisely. Emotion regulation allows students to avoid impulsive actions that can harm themselves or others.
Meanwhile, time management involves prioritizing tasks, setting schedules, and managing time efficiently. Good time management can help one increase productivity, reduce stress, and achieve their goals.

Pocket book media is equipped with reflection worksheets to determine the extent to which students are able to understand the contents of the pocket book. The pocket book is also made with 3 languages, namely Thai, English, and Indonesian.
This aims to facilitate and improve students' understanding and can be accessed or used in Indonesia, Thailand and other countries.
PLP is a program for undergraduate education students. The aim is to train students to become competent educators who are able to provide effective learning to students, as well as prepare prospective teachers or professional teachers in various disciplines or subjects[].
